I have 5 (yes 5) kittens and two older cats (a one year old and a 12 year old) I am feeding them all separate foods which is becoming expensive. Can I feed the kittens normal wet cat food if I still give them kitten dry food? If not any one got any tips of how to own 7 cats and save money on food?

I would say you should still feed them kitten food because they are still really young, but perhaps you can find an all life stages food? Something high protein is best. It's not always as good as kitten specific food, but its better than feeding them adult food. I know Natural Balance does a lot of 'kitten to adult' food, and Go! Fit+Free food seemed very high in protein also when I looked.
As for saving money on 7 cats, I only have 1, buy I know buying bulk is a good idea. If you can shop online, many stores have free shipping above a certain price, and you can get 24 packs for a lot cheaper than individual (and generally cheaper online than in store). Also taking advantage of sales (possibly subscribe to the newsletter/flyer to get emails). Some online stores also give discounts if you set up automatic purchasing, so they'll send you a crate of a specific food every month or so automatically and you save an extra 5 bucks a month or something.

Yes I was thinking buying in bulk would be better. However in the UK its harder to find all the different cat foods on the same site. Thanks
