7 month kitten

I Have a 7 month kitten who was eating a lot yesterday and everything was fine. But today I called his name and he did not come out of his hiding spot he didn't want to eat wants to sleep all day and meows like a weak meow. Later in the day I tried to feed him Kitten Formula GNC and he did like it and drank a lot of it. Recently about 5 days ago I had one of my 1 year old cat poisoned sadly had to put to sleep for too much suffering. I do not know what is wrong with my kitten. Anything helps thank you.

The only thing TCS can suggest is to take your kitten to the vet. Your kitten's symptoms can be anything and no one here can diagnose your kitten or even suggest what might be the issue. The fact that your other cat was poisoned a few days ago is concerning. Do you know what poisoned the cat? Is it possible that the kitten was also exposed to the poison?

The Vet said he might of ate a poisoned rat. I am not really sure. Yesterday was the only day I let my kitten out for a bit and he started acting very weird. Right now he is sleeping with no problem and yea I think I should take him to the vet to see what is the problem. Thank you.

I would definitely bring the kitten to the vet just to be checked out

Hi everyone my same cat is having the same symptoms like before. Doesn't want to eat ham or his kitty food. All he ate today was cheese milk and formula. Also ate some treats but he looks very sad and just stares for a while no sleeping. Every time I take one of my cats to the vet they give me a whole list of things I don't need. Is there anything I can do for him? Or do I have to take him to a vet. Thank you very much.

Also he seems to be grooming him self normally. 

He really needs to see a vet.

I went to the vet and she told me that my cat might have been poisoned. I have had 3 of my cats poisoned. About a minute ago I offered him some chicken and he ate it instantly. And started meowing and purring. Could that be a sign he is feeling better? Also he has been drinking plenty of water which is great. And Yes I do think I should go to the vet still. Thank you!

Can you keep your cats inside? This doesn't sound safe at all.

He is an indoor cat. But my cat Chester was outdoor/indoor kitty. I have all 3 of my babies inside. 

How do you think 3 cats could have been poisoned inside?

No, What I am trying to say is I had 3 outdoor cats poisoned. I have 3 indoors cats now. I have one who is sick and a pregnant female I found living outside and a 7-8 year old male. 

The kitties who got poisoned was in 2014. And one in 2016. 

My kitty cat is looking better. He is drinking water constantly. He only wants to eat chicken is it normal? I offer him chicken broth, kitten formula, and cheese. He rejects cheese and broth. 

Another interesting thing he won't stop grooming himself constantly. He has always groomed himself most of his time but not this much.

You said the kitten will eat kitten formula and chicken? You can mix kitten formula into wet cat food to see if he will eat that. Plain chicken is not a complete diet for a cat, but is ok for a few days.

Maybe other members will have more advice

I had a cat die in October.  Also my kitty cat is feeling better back to his normal self. I took him to the vet and they prescribed him medicine thank you for you help!
