LOL! We now have #10, again!
I was at the club to pick up stuff from the bake sale yesterday. I went near the back door. I heard a meow. On the loading dock steps sat a very cute older kitten--mostly black, but definitely a tuxie. he/she looks a lot like Sarah Jane! It was ADORABLE sitting on the steps and meowing toward the back door. It ran under a storage building. I cut up a hot dog from the kitchen to lure it, but no go. I phoned my husband to come over to trap it, which we did. He/she (I haven't picked it up nor touched it yet to find out) is resting in the carrier. It did meow a few times when Leo came into the room. Don't worry, the carrier is up high where the other cats can't get to it until I prep the quarantine room.
Three years ago, on another Sunday morning, I was sent a dear little black kitten, Sarah Jane. This must stop.
You know those plans where you can gift someone the service of having a fruit basket delivered every month for a year? I think someone is playing a cruel joke on me, but with kittens: the Halloween kitten basket.
I'll be honest, I didn't want a #10, but I couldn't leave it, and I'm a sucker for black cats, and especially, black kittens. Ok-- I fell in love at first sight. So there.
