Hello

Hope someone can help me here as i am getting increasingly worried about my boy, Razor he just over a year

I got him over a year ago from a friend off a friend.  I have only ever had female pets all my life.

He doesnt want to go out side, he been just outside the door so does not roam anywhere, he had all injections etc flea worm treatments etc.. neutored aswell

To me he looks on the thin side, and looks bloated round belly area, when i pick him up he sorts of yelps if that makes any sense. Sometimes he runs round like a mad cat making some strange noise like he in so much pain, i cant work out wether he struggling to pee or poo as when he does it he has been either for a poo or a pee sometimes both and sometimes nothing.

Lately he has been chilling with me on bed more as previously he just sleeps on a window sill etc.  I think his fur looks a bit seperateted not sure how to explain but when you put clips or bobbles in your hair and u get that seperating effect.

i was on a health plan at one vet and they kep saying he fine etc etc, i still dont think so.  Took him to another vet seen by 2 other people they say he is fine and healthy and he may be bored. but i still dont think so, the noise he makes seem like he in so much pain, its not all the time but when it is its so loud and some times has ran into things etc.

I have recently just found out that his siblings died just after i got my boy, and worse still i foung out that  my boys parents is actually the mother and son, i freeked out on this and if i knew before i got him i wouldnt have even had him, but i have now and its not his fault and i will not treat him anyway different, do you think this is why?

also just now this is why i have decided to come to outside vet help as i have just noticed some bright red blood on his bum area, he hasnt been for a poo but did before i come home from work

Please help all these have been from when got him but the blood bit is just now tonight or maybe havnt notice before

can anyone help please

Since there is now blood, another vet is the safest thing.  Call, describe what is going on, and if they don't seem to take it seriously, call another vet.  You might mention your worried about the line-breeding (mother/son) that produced your cat.  Sounds like he may have a blockage, which, if ignored, can be fatal.  Good for you, to keep up with his health.  You so obviously care about him.  Sending good vibes out to you both.

Were you able to get him to the vet?  I think that's the best course of action in this situation.
