I read through the terms and conditions, and I believe this is acceptable.  If not, I apologize.

I have created a Go Fund Me page to help with the cost associated with my cat Lily's illness. She has a mass (lymphoma) in her colon, about 4cm x 1cm. There is no treatment. Our wish for Lily is to plan on keeping her as healthy and happy for as long as possible, then to peacefully and painlessly put her to sleep. I plan on doing this with regular vet visits and ultrasounds to help me make sure she is not in any discomfort. I am also going to use a medication that I've been told will help keep her quality of life better, even if only for a little bit. Lastly, I will need the funds to put her to sleep without having to suffer further. I will be posting this on multiple sites so I can drum up as much help as possible.

I lost another cat (Yoshi), who had been with me for 12 years and passed away on 8/25/16. Months before there had been a huge scare and we thought we were going to lose him. Then he recovered and was considered a miracle kitty by the vet. Unfortunately a few months later he passed away in my arms, we think due to a tumor or some kind of cancer. There was such a huge cost associated with the treatment of Yoshi for the 3-6 months prior to his death, and there is still a lot of debt to be paid off. Because of that, there is not a lot of money for me to take care of Lily the way she deserves. And honestly, it makes me feel guilty because I want to do everything possible to make the rest of her life enjoyable, I just didn't anticipate having to go through something like this again so soon.

Lily has been in my life for almost 12 years as well. She is spunky and full of energy, very affectionate and a little crazy, like most cats. She also has tendencies to behave like a dog, following me around (first) my apartment and (now) my townhouse. She tells me when she is hungry and wants to be on my lap constantly. You can read about Lily and Yoshi, and see photos of both of them (and one with my other baby Leo.)

If there is anything you can do to help, I would appreciate it greatly. Even if it is just to pass on the story and information to other animal lovers that may be able to help. Again, I want her to be happy and pain free as long as possible. I want to be able to provide comfort and love as much as we can for as long as we can. And have the strength to let her go when the time comes.

The only consolation is that soon she will be back with Yoshi and they can play and cuddle all they want.

Thank you so much for reading through my story and I hope you are able to help!
