cat females are often petite, and yet usually they manage well.  Its sooner more worrying if she is very young.  How old is she?

Read on, prepare, - and yes, make sure you can raise money or get such a vet&doc credit card.  I never remember what its called, but its a good device to have, making it easier to get a payment plan.

You can perhaps also find a cheap vet clinic?

At this moment, if she is healthy and no real problem, you dont need to go to vet.

She is very young I think she's about a year and 3 months old I got her healthy yes she's healthy she should be giving birth any day I thought last night I've been up all night because I thought for sure she won't go in her box she needs to be on my chest at all times I don't know what she's going to do with the kittens but can you tell me signs to look for and how I know if there is a complication because I'm so scared that the kids are going to be too big I want to send you a picture I'm going to try to figure out how to do that so you can see how small she is I know that cats are usually pretty but she's really small like I almost didn't know if there was something wrong with her but no she's healthy but thank you for answering me I appreciate it um this site seems to be a lifesaver for a lot of people

Also since last night fetal movement has been unbelievable and like I said I thought she was in labor last night she's definitely uncomfortable but she can still sleep could she be in the first stage of Labor she's been licking a licking a lot usually she wants to be right on top of me since last night she wants to be right next to me but doesn't want me touching her and she's moving around and I know this is all signs of labor but then it seems to go but she just seems to go to sleep but the fetal movement has been out of this world and I didn't know if that's a sign of imminent labor she's had milk for about a week now coming out of her nipples

has she dropped? ie a couple of days before delivery, they usually suddenly seems smaller, the big basketball for men is suddenly a minor basketball for women.  :)  Or even for kids.  :)   When they have dropped, the movements are usually lesser too - the kittens dont have place to move much, there down in the birthing positions.

If she hasnt dropped and kittens move much, it may be so its just precontractions  making her uneasy...

How long have you felt the kittens move??

She has dropped as a matter of fact I woke up afraid she had had the kittens two days ago but now she's looking more like a basketball again so I'm more confused than ever I know that the kittens are moving like crazy though and she's exhausted she's very tired she just seems worn out and I've been feeling the kittens for at least two and a half weeks and she was so thin I mean I could see if I put my fingers I could feel my other finger if I went around her stomach it was horrible h due to that she has been on Purina kitten chow since I got her I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing but I do know what's high protein I was trying to get her weight up
. A kitten food trying to get her weight up and then this happened so she was a very very skinny cat and she's not very big now nobody would even know she's pregnant although the past few days you would because she's got that basketball belly but you really wouldn't know I mean she's got only have like three kittens I would think because she's not big but there's no question she's pregnant and she's been leaking milk for a week she's had all the signs that I found on websites of imminent labor for a while accept last night and this morning she was very restless now she's like exhausted but can't sleep so I'm a little worried the kittens are moving like crazy though but maybe it's possible she's not as far along as I thought and maybe there's still a few more days or even a week I don't know

The other thing that makes me believe she's very close she was so thin even being pregnant she doesn't look a healthy weight but then yes I did get that basketball bump not as big as other cats a healthy Cat by any stretch but a decent bump for her size but at her pelvic bone was still sickly thing so she went in bump to almost non-existent in the back side it was just bone is that area has filled out and I think it's because it kittens moving into the birth canal because there's definitely something going on with her and that's what I'm hoping it is because this needs to end for her and start a new beginning I love her very much and I'm very very upset that this is happened I teach my kids better than this I teach them to love and respect animals and don't just have babies cuz they're cute if you can't take care of them you don't have them they are a privilege not a right I don't believe someone in my position should be bringing kittens into the world she didn't get pregnant on my watch though so now I just have to deal with what's going on but it's very upsetting to me I believe in getting your animals fixed in all that
