It's National Taco Day!

Happy National Taco Day!




So, do you like tacos? Soft or hard tortilla? corn or flour? What kind of filling?


I really like tacos. I prefer soft corn tortillas and like both chicken and shrimp tacos.

I prefer hard tacos! Beef is good or chicken. And I love tomatoes, cheese and sour cream in them. And a little bit of mild salsa, also.

Now I want tacos.

I like soft whole wheat flour tortillas with ground beef, sour cream, hot sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and shredded Colby jack cheese

I love tacos! I prefer soft flour tortillas. I usually make them with ground turkey and add pinto beans. These are the only thing I will buy iceberg lettuce for now.

I prefer hard corn shells with beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and salsa.  I like pico de gallo instead of salsa in the summer if I can get good tomatoes.

Soft tacos with shrimp or fish and all the works! Extra spicey! Omg I am so hungry right now...only a couple more hours at work.

I prefer the soft shells. It really doesn't matter, though, because geez, I make a mess when I eat tacos.   I take a bite and everything just falls apart.  I really like vegetarian taco salad instead of tacos.....I make less of a mess that way. 

We usually make vegetarian tacos now: shredded lettuce, light red kidney beans with taco seasoning (we like pinto beans, too), tomatoes, a variety of shredded cheeses, and we usually use my zucchini salsa. No sour cream here. Sometimes I'll brown a bit of ground turkey and add to the mix, but most of the time, it's just the beans.

I like both hard and soft tacos....but only beef.  I'm a beef kinda gal.  And I love all the trimmings, extra tomato and pico if I have some!!
