Prebiotics in cat treats, will this help digestive issues?

I have one cat with IBD and the other got over intestinal parasites. Both cats had loose or soft stools and I have them on a probiotic. I heard prebiotic feeds the good bacteria in the gut, but also might feed the bad and make the cats stomachs worse. Should I avoid feeding prebiotic cat treats? They have purina pro plan indoor reduces calorie tuna.

Maybe try it and see? What does your vet think? My cats get treats with probiotics sometimes but they do not have IBD.
