Movin' on up!
And I thought that Arizona's Why, Santa Claus, Bumble Bee and Bagdad were odd! (BTW: that's how our "Bagdad" is spelled).

Some of the Indian names just sound weird: Tuzigoot (ruins), Tumacacori (Too-MA-:censor::censor::censor::censor:-er-ee), Wikiup.

It's in Lancaster County ("Amish Country"), and "Paradise" is just down the road!

It ought to be "town names with sexual connotation", because that's the majority of the list. I was glad to see the town in North Wales with the longest name, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. My dad could actually pronounce it.

Where's my hometown on that list? Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ Everyone I've ever talked to think it's a rather offbeat name.

Well I've got one to share with you. It's a suburb in Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, Australia.

The suburb's name is Innaloo. Yup, that's pronounced "In a loo".

Loo is an Aussie term for toilet.

I've just had a quick glance at my telephone directory at work to see what i could find, and theres a place called " Six Mile Bottom "!!!!.

Havent a clue where it is, but being a receptionist i get to know area codes well and i think it's in Scotland.

There's no place like home
I live just south of a town called "Peculiar" (slogon: where the odds are with you). Not that funny in itself, but I like to tell people that ask where I live that I'm "beyond Peculiar". If you call me long distance you will see Peculiar on your phone bill. They do host the annual "Peculiar Cow Plop Bingo" each year at their "Peculiar Days Festival". My mom used to tell her friends that I'm her "Peculiar daughter".

I also like the town of Tightwad, MO (that one made the list). There is a bank of Tightwad and I always wanted to open up a bank account there.

Yes, and I've been to both. They're about 10 miles from where I live. Further out there is Blue Ball. No kidding.

They sell t-shirts that say: Virginia may be for lovers, but Pennsylvania has Intercourse.
