Hi from New York

I actually didn't realize there was an introduction forum on here- I've already been posting elsewhere on here for about a month now.  So I'll do so now-  My name is Jessica, I'm from Long Island, NY and I am the owner of a 4 month old kitten named Foxy whose genes/heritage I am definitely curious to know about, since she is rather tall in comparison to other 4 month olds, has gigantic ears and a dog-like personality.    I'm a lifelong cat lover and grew up with one named Tucker (passed away in 2003) and had another named Feeny who passed away recently.

Hey Long Islander, what a small world!  I also noticed that you did a review of the Last hope animal shelter in Wantagh- I actually live 3 minutes away from there! I used to go there when Bide-a-wee was still there and play with all the animals as a kid- I was obsessed with wanting to become a veterinarian when I was younger.  Are you also from the south shore Nassau area?

I adopted one of my cats from Last Hope, and had wonderful help from them from a sick kitten I found a few weeks ago. Love that shelter!

I live in Nassau, yep! though I grew up in Suffolk.
