I'm so ashamed [emoji]128563[/emoji]

I did a wash load and my cats favourite toy was around on the floor, but of course I don't take much notice I just kick it to one side and forget about it.

I don't have a dryer at home so I go to the laundrette early Saturday morning, I go get a coffee and plan to come back a few minutes before the cycle ends.

Anyway picture this, I walk in the door coffee in hand and notice her toy there spinning around with everything else! I just panic and open the dryer up, my sheets are all over the place! I find her toy and realise I'm talking to myself! Lucky no one else is there at 8am!!

So I take it to her at home she sniffs it and walks off!
She always puts this toy in her food bowl so I rub it around her food, she becomes more interested but not like before...last night I put it in our bed hoping to get a familiar scent back onto it.

I feel so bad, it's been her favourite forever now I've ruined it!

Aw. it's OK. Do you have any catnip spray? If you do, give it a spritz and see if that works. It usually does for mine.

I have definitely done this before. Afterwards I put it in with the rest of their toys to pick up the scent of all of the rest. Worked well.

Thanks for replies, I don't have cat nip spray but I will look out for it, for now I'll put it with her other toys and hope she goes back for it.

Look who's playing with their favourite toy!!

Yep that ragged ball of fluff is her best thing and I'm so relieved [emoji]128524[/emoji]
