I bought a different brand of cat food a few days ago and I've noticed a change when cleaning the litter. It doesn't smell as bad and and it's not as loose. It's healthier. I bought the food for the female cat TigerLily that I adopted and her kittens but I've also got a male cat (havnt been able to think of a name for him yet) and I've been feeding the food to him as well. It's especially made for nursing cats and their kittens and it's quite expensive. I need to find a good quality dry food that I can buy in large bags that will keep the smell down but isn't too expensive. For the boy and Lily when the kittens are weaned. I feed them wet food every day too but he is now eating only dry food.

There really aren't any good quality dry foods that will cut down on smell. Dry foods are loaded with fillers which makes their waste smell worse. If you want a smell free litter box you'll need to go raw. I don't recommend buying any dry food in large bags because kibble goes stale very quickly, even if you put it in some sealed container.

Kat777, isn't really a matter of what your cats will readily eat and what is healthy for them?

If you plan on purchasing dry food, then try the GF varieties of brands like Purina Beyond, Rachael Ray, Evolve, Canidae and Under the Sun.  Those brands are all cheaper than some of the "luxury names" often referenced on this website.
