Hello!

Hey all! I've come across this site several times in my Googling about random cat things, and so finally just decided to join. It seems like a great support and resource, and a great solution for my one other friend who has cats but is probably sick of me asking her questions about my new(and first ever) kitty :-)

This past week was the six month anniversary of my adopting my almost 2 year old Tortie, who I have dubbed Lizzie. She's a petite little girl, and I've loved every second of having her home! We are going through some stuff right now, she's recovering from a pretty sizeable tooth extraction this past Thursday (7 teeth), but I just keep reminding myself, and her, that while it sucks right now she will feel so much better after the recovery!

Lizzie is so adorable[emoji]10084[/emoji]️! I'm sorry to hear she's recovering from such a tough dental procedure. Poor little love. Thank you for loving and caring for Lizzie and for giving her a forever home. I hope the Lizzie starts to feel better soon!

How is Miss Lizzy doing today? Better I hope!

HelloMissKitty, she's doing much better! We have a follow-up with the vet this morning (she didn't get any antibiotics and I just want to check to make sure she's healing properly) but she seems to be coming back to herself! Still not eating as much as I'd like, and having some trouble when eating, but I'm guessing that's to be expected when you suddenly wake up with almost a quarter of your teeth gone! Thank you for asking :-)
