Ewok, shivering, weakened legs, and spasms.

Okay, so all my cats are outside, the kittens are sleeping nestled with their mom in a pet taxi, my other cats sleep together in a huddle in a pen that I had made them, two sides made of wood the other two chicken wire. They sleep with full pans of cat food and water. This morning after I opened the door, they all raced out but a few. Those few were the fattest and one that I adopted after someone dumped her in a bag of cat food on the side of the road. She is super friendly, purrs before even touched and is on my list to get spayed. Been low on money since getting medicine for the kits, they're doing great and are as spunky as ever after their bout of an upper respiratory infection, since the weather has been getting colder. I had to leave my job due to them not being as flexible with my school schedule as they said they be (it's not even hard), they decided to have me work on days I requested off in the book 6 months ago, knowing I wouldn't be able to work those days, so I'm currently seeking new employment.

Anyways, Ewok, she approached me in sweet way and I embraced her of course, as she walked around me I noticed her hind legs were kinda wobbly (like a cat I once had who had seizures after the amount of trauma she endured, I hate to say that cat has passed on, I did all I could, she was attacked by an owl which had cost $400 to stitch up, the vet said that sedating her to get her fixed would most likely kill her, so that wasn't done. After a long recovery and months of medicine and vet visits, she got better, but got bit by a snake on the face twice! She healed from that as it was only a rat snake, but that was just enough to cause her to have seizures.) But nothing like that happened to Ewok as far as I know, I've only had her for maybe a month. She ate normally, but staggered this morning and threw her paws up in the air and fell over and had spasms as if she was giving birth, but she did poop a little. It's cold, could that be affecting her legs? I don't really know what to do, I'm at school, I have her contained just in case she ends up being pregnant, which I hope is not the case. It's getting too cold and she's at least 4 months old, I didn't want her going through that. I need advice about her legs. Please, please help.

I'm so sorry this is happening. She really needs to see a vet. I don't think anyone can advise you otherwise. It sounds like she is having seizures.

Do you have the intact males and females separated?

Yes, the adult male isn't allowed near her, but could she be possibly pregnant from before I got her?? I really don't another Elaine, she was soooo hard to care for. Elaine got so bad she couldn't walk straight. Granted, I took time out to teach her, but she still wobbled. I have no idea what to do....

Can you get her to the vet? If it's sudden, it is an emergency.

The weather has been shifting so maybe it's that? My boyfriend said the same thing happened to his dog earlier.

Cold weather would not cause staggering and spasms. Your cat really needs to see a vet. When you get home from school, please call the vet. Or just call the vet now and ask for advice and whether you can bring the cat in tonight or if there is a vet ER you can bring the cat to.

Yes, agreed. This is not incidental or weather-related. She needs to get to a vet today.

I got home and everything was fine. She's walking normally and eating fine, like nothing happened, she hasn't had spasms since. I'll call the vet soon.
