My oldest cat, Isis, 14 years old, passed peacefully in her Daddy's lap.

Run, Isis, you're free now! Go get em!

Isis lived in a home obviously filled with love and care fro fourteen years. That she died in her Daddy's lap, at home, near everything she held so dear is a true blessing. Your home will seem so empty now without her presence, but remember the bond you formed over all those years will tie her to you and allow the love to surround you for the rest of your life. The physical body gets weary, but her spirit will live on for eternity, the 'essence' that made her so special will never leave you and you can use your precious memories to comfort yourself in your time of mourning.  She would never want the ones she loves so much to be so sad when remembering her, celebrate having that beautiful little girl in your life, and know that even though your life's journeys take separate paths now, they will rejoin again in the distant future.

Just like the cats we love so very much, we all want everything to go on as it does forever, no changes, no upheavals in our lives, but time marches on and there is no way to stop it. Although we can't change the past, we can treasure what it meant to us, and use those legacies of love that these beautiful creatures left to us to bring us comfort and peace.

My heart goes out to you, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for letting us know of this sweet girl so that she will be remembered and honored by many.  Take care and may you be blessed for sharing your lives and your home with a special girl called Isis.

RIP beautiful Isis, you will never be forgotten on this earth, know that you will be tenderly held in loving hearts for eternity!

I'm so sorry.  How sweet that she passed peacefully, surrounded by love.  RIP, little Isis.

You know, I haven't been able to revisit this until now. Thank you all for your sweet kindness!

She was a laser pointer queen, and she'd knock the dog toys off the bed and make our dog go get them. I don't care who you are, that was too funny!

One time she decided the dryer was a cool place to be. I didn't realize she was in there, so when I started the dryer ... WOOOO!!! I opened the door and she shot out like a furry bullet!

She loved to hide in the lower kitchen cabinets. My mother-in-law doesn't like cats very much, but when Isis popped out of the cabinet under the sink she scared the poo out of her.

My mother-in-law has been a little nervous here ever since. LOL!

She loved shoelaces. Bless her heart, getting dressed was a hoot.

Thanks for helping me begin to heal and blab. Bless you all!
