Don't think my cat will make it

He's been on Doxy for about 7 days.  I give him saline nasal drops as the vet said his lungs are clear  he can't breathe well  Steamy bathroom many times a day   The stress of going to vet 2x to have dental surgery gave him an FIV flare so I doubt the doxy will do much but make him feel bad.

He seems like he is dying and I don't know what else to do.  Someone recommended Tamiflu but I don't know much about it  Can someone fill me in on Tamiflu   

Could it be that it's the Doxy that is making him feel worse than he really is?  Not sure really what all his symptoms are, but antibiotics can sometimes make them feel worse than before.  One of my cats was on Clavamox and we thought he was going to die from that.  He wouldn't eat, just layed on the floor not moving for days on end.  His Vet put a note in his file that he was never to get Clavamox again.

I was thinking that also  about the Doxy  He is in the hospital now on fluids  But now my other cat is sneezing

 I am keeping you and your crew in my thoughts and prayers.  You could ask your vet, or perhaps consult a holistic vet about immune support including L-lysine, Slippery Elm Bark tea, marshmallow root and licorice root. Also, inquire about using children's liquid Claritin for a decongestant. You are doing the very best that you can- prayers that the fluids and other vet treatments work soon and that your other kitty stays healthy!!! Susan
