Just how bad have you been bitten?

Went to get little Satan off the top of my car once.  She chomped down just behind my wrist.  I pulled my arm back toward my chest, and she was dangling there....hanging on with her teeth.  The punctures were to the bone, but, didn't look too bad aside from the swelling.  Should have gone to Dr. but didn't.
I no longer mind her being on the car.

Little Turd attacked the back of my leg once.  No bones in my calf, but, best I could tell...the more blood he tasted, the harder he bit.  I think he was trying to take a chunk.  He wasn't letting go, had to pry him off.   Deep punctures and gashes.  Not really any swelling though.  Washed and washed and I survived.
I no longer let him out of my sight when walking past.

You are lucky you did not infect.  Both those bites were deep enough that I would have run right to the local family doc in a box clinic and gotten a shot of penicillin.  Cat bites almost always infect, and I'd rather go straight for the antibiotics than risk that kind of infection.  Glad you have a tough immune system.  You might want to try carrying a squirt gun loaded with perfumed water.  They hate perfume, especially citruskinds, and usually just a gentle spray in a cat's direction with tell him to move.  By doing this, you achieve the status of SKUNK and thus something to be respected, not bitten.  It works.

I washed both of those bites down with alcohol.  Several glasses if I remember right.
