My cat gave birth about 2-3 weeks ago and all 5 kittens were born healthy as ever. Just today I noticed that one of them was walking around "frog-legged" or with his legs spread to either side rather than forward like the rest. I looked it up and got a little bit of information but I didn't pull up much. I was wondering if anyone could help? He is also the runt of the litter, if it matters. He has no trouble walking around and playing, I think it's sitting that gets him uncomfortable as his feet are not underneath to support him. We are getting a vet to looks at it this upcoming week but we are needing any other advice to keep him out of pain. Thanks.

When a kitten's legs are twisted or splayed out in the wrong direction, gentle massaging of the legs and tendons will often right them.

Is it his back legs? You'll want to gently massage them for several minutes until they are warm enough to try placing forward in the correct position. Do this several times a day. Kitten bones and tendons are very malleable when young. The sooner you start the better the outcome.

Can you post a picture of his legs please?

That can definitely be corrected! You should begin to see results fairly quickly if you massage to warm them up several times daily, and then put them into the correct position. [emoji]128522[/emoji]
