Help, 5 week old kitten very still and can't open its mouth.

Help!!! My kitten is 5 weeks old, I came home today. It was lying very still, eyes open and it can't open it's mouth. I looked at its gums, they are pale white. It's sleeping now and I'm keeping it warm. I think it may be from fleas, gave a quick bath with gain and the fleas are jumping off. It was just fine yesterday, I can't afford a vet and I don't know what to do!

It's hard to know what's wrong, but the kitten needs warming up with a heating pad set on low, or a sock filled with dry rice, microwaved for 5 minutes, and wrapped in a towel and placed nearby.

Put some honey on the kitten's gums for quick energy.

What are you feeding the kitten and how often?

is the kitten still alive?  If so, continue along the advices above, ie actively warming up  (and plocking off any more fleas).

Thick honey water on lips and gum to give quick energy.

Drop in pedialyte in the corner of the mouth. drop after drop,   bought or homemade.  You can use some honeywater and a little salt in it as a very basic pedialyte.  If he lives throught next hours, you can give a more elaborated pedialyte

You can also carry the kitten on your chest.  Talk friendly to it, make nice sounds, to encourage it to fight on.  Pray if you so wish.

Have fleece in the bed, it feels like fur.

You can massage it, for example with brushing with a tootbrush - feels like moms tongue.
