I just lost my cat Chauncey, a former feral whom I'd just moved with to a new address less than a week ago. She escaped from her room window when the screen popped out. I thought she would was safe because the window was closed enough so that she couldn't fit her head through and the screen was reinforced. I was wrong.
If you are in the 1600s San Carlos St. Fairfield CA area, please send me a PM if you come across a striped orange tabby with orange eyes. She is about a year and a half years old.
She is microchipped. I will be calling all the shelters in the morning, handing out posters to my neighbors, and posting lost posters. Please share if you happen to have other suggestions! I have looked for her for throughout tonight to no avail, and spread her litter and food around the yard. She is usually very affectionate and vocal, but she has been so scared since the move that she may not be responding. My old address is in LA, which is 400 miles away. I don't think she could make it back. I'm not sure what to do; I just know that I failed her in the worst possible way.
