Life after splint

Hi all, a couple of weeks ago I took my cat, Kato, to the vet because she was limping. My vet took x-rays and saw nothing was broken or dislocated so she thinks it may be a problem with her ligament. She splinted her leg for two weeks. Yesterday morning I went in to have it removed. My vet told me limping was normal but she should slowly start regaining her strength. So I was wondering what experiences y'all have had with this, like how much limping is normal or around how long it will take for her to be closer to normal. I am a worrier and it makes me feel better reading how others have dealt with things lol. Thanks.

Just bumping this up for you.  Did your Vet not answer these questions for you, or did you not ask.  I usually forget my questions while I'm at the Vet and only remember them while I'm driving home .  I'm sure you can call them on Monday and ask though.
