This come in my email today and I would get her right away , but it is over 7 hours to drive for me . So maybe some one here would be interested in her and is clother to Virginia . You would have to fill out a aplication on the link I posted .
This Aby needs immediate foster or adoption. She is in a vet's office
which takes the overflow from the Humane Society but will have to be moved
out of there very quickly. This is a young Aby (approx. 2 1/2), spayed,
current on her shots and FeLV negative. She was surrendered because of
"blood in her stool" but she hasn't shown any signs of this at the vet's
office. We are suspicious of this because the same owner surrendered a
domestic short hair at the same time. The vet's office does say she has
gum and teeth problems that will need to be dealt with soon.
She apparently was in a neglectful home and then put into a crowded noisy
shelter and then moved to a vet's office, so she is showing signs of
stress. She is cowering in the back of the cage and needs to be moved
into a quiet environment as soon as possible. If you are considering her,
please be sure to carefully read over the link on our web site
(http://www.abys.net/NAR/advice.htm) on how to help her through this
terrible time.
