Ugh-last night, I noticed Bandit's third eyelid was covering part of his eye----he'd had a cyst on the lower lid last week and it's gone, but I've noticed for awhile his eye was more watery and the pupils were slightly different but I figured it was from his cyst. No pain, vision good etc. But, when the third eyelid started to show, I bumped Bandit's vet appt to this morning.
Apparently he has Horner's Syndrome---it's a nerve condition--in Bandit's case, it's idopathic--we couldn't find any reason for it--he's walking fine (he actually escaped from the exam room into the waiting room when I had to move my car), generally cute and normal and she did extensive tests (I even got to see her lift up the third eyelid after freezing it to make sure nothing was under it--that was COOL!)
She said it will likely clear up on it's own between 6-8 weeks--just wonderful if anyone else's cat has had this condition?
