8-week-old tearing hair out of tail

Hi all,

I have an 8-week-old kitten who has a kind of sore on his tail. He was found under a car at my place of employment, and I took him in. He's been to the vet, but he must not have seen this. He got stuff for the fleas, and the shots that he was old enough to get. I was wondering if maybe this could be a sore from him biting himself because of a flea, and maybe now he's just trying to pick at a scab? He doesn't do it all the time, just randomly. t will upload a picture I took earlier today. I don't know if this may be serious, or if I should wait and see if he keeps doing it before I call the vet.

Looks minor but I remcommend emailing the picutre to your vet for an opinion.

I ended up making an appointment for tomorrow morning. Better safe than sorry! Thank you for the comment. I think this site will be very good for a first time cat owner
