You can clean her with a warm, damp wash cloth. It's good to hear that she is doing better.

I just looked at my 1st eye pics and her recent one seems like her eyes are having huge progress, could it be she was just lacking nutrients needed for it when she was younger? Eating seems to be healing it since I haven't cleaned her eyes in days

You should continue to use the cotton pad soaked in tea for her eyes. Although proper nutrition is most definitely helping, it still looks like she may have infection that needs to be treated.

You really should order the terramycin ointment, and a can of powdered KMR from Amazon.

will do I might have to order some cat toys too,I can't find any where I live and the pets stores I used to go to as a kid seemed to have closed down.

Also she doesn't react to my voice or any noise I make but if I walk away she will run to catch up to me,any way to make her react to my voice?

She's just little. She will learn to react to your voice as she grows.

Can you order today? Her eyes need attention, and she needs formula asap.

It may be discharge from the eye. I can't be sure from the picture. You can try wiping it. Again, use the tea-soaked pads.

I've heard you need to prepare her with a bath collar. Not sure if that's what it's called but from what I understand it's basically soap and water (Dawn blue liquid soap) applied to her whole neck to keep the fleas from running to her head to escape the bath when you put her in it.

Someone else please advise about this.

Also get a flea comb to comb out the dead fleas.

Make the bath very shallow and stand her on a towel in the water. I've heard kitties freak out if their feet slip.

Ok..I wish I had read about the circle around the neck advice,I washed her and got most of the fleas except a few fled right to her face! some even went for her eye..luckily i got the ones that went for her eyes, after I was done I only saw 3 that lived and they were hiding behind her ears/her face so it was very hard to get them by time I read online that you should use a tweezer to kill the ones on the face it was too late..the stun period for them was over and they vanished,I did manage to find one and got him with my tweezers..I'm heading out now to see if I can find a flea comb will be hard to find where I live.

I dried her off with a towel and left a warm bottle of water in her house to keep her company, hopefully she isnt cold for too long.

suprised she was so energetic with the amount of fleas I found on her..shes such a strong kitty.

You can use human baby formula for her, but mix in twice as much powder as it says on the label. Kitty milk is stronger than people milk ;). Get regular formula---not soy, not iron fortified, not hydrolyzed, just plain, and only buy a respected brand. Mix some in with her canned food, also offer a bowl of it. She's old enough to not need a bottle but she does need the extra nutrition of formula for a few more weeks.

When you bathe her, make sure you dry her thoroughly and keep her somewhere warm until she's all the way dry. At that age they can catch a chill easily. Bathe her every day as long as you see fleas---fleas can kill small kittens so you have to get rid of them. So the risk of the bath is worth it.

If you can't find a flea comb you may be able to find a head lice comb made for humans. That will work too.

She will need to see the vet soon for de-worming and vaccinations (also spaying when she's old enough). De-worming is especially important because she can't grow if the worms are taking all her nutrients. So try to get her in as soon as you can!

When you order the kitten formula and terramycin, also order Advantage II for kittens. You can put a tiny bit on her neck and it will kill the fleas.

You may have to reapply it again in 2 weeks until all fleas are gone. The bath helps, but there will be eggs hatching and new fleas. Advantage II works well.

Yes, that is why I said use a TINY amount, like 2 drops. It is effective but not harmful when used this way on kittens.

The kitten formula is better than infant formula. It is specially formulated for kittens, and includes taurine, which kittens need for brain development.

Baby formulas actually do have taurine :dk:. I don't know if it's in the amount kittens need but it is listed in the ingredients. Some pretty good kitten raising sites recommend using double-strength baby formula, so I guess it works. But at the very least it's better than nothing and can be used while the KMR order gets there :).
