Hello all,
A few months ago we introduced a new tiny member to our family, she came in severely under weight and slowly she's been growing strong.
She came into our house which was already under the rule of Oscar and Matilda. Originally it was just Matilda, and she was the queen, she had everyone's attention and was a total diva.
When Oscar arrived it was a struggle to finally introduce them, they were once litter mates but were separated, but their reunion was less that sweet.
Oscar quickly took up the whole house and Matilda became a skittish cat. We still gave them equal amounts of love, but Oscar took my bed as his territory. Oscar and I were very very close.
Fast forward 6 months and I rescued a kitten from an abandoned property, and took her to the vet. We began the introductions after she got a clean bill of health. It was long and difficult but it finally reached the point where they would even cuddle together.
Recently we discovered that Oscar has been increasingly aggressive with our other cats, he will bite them and pounce on them and that was always "playing" before until I saw claws and spitting. He even managed to injure the small kitten.
I went online and did research and then I realized it was jealousy. Lola, the baby, had taken over my bed and claimed it her territory and even claimed me, she would climb on me as I slept and she would always have my attention. Oscar and I were once very close but after Lola came I gave her some attention as well.

After Lola's injury, I began to give Oscar more and more attention, but nothing had changed. He still goes after Lola and still attacks her. I have no idea what to do. I love them all dearly and they're a huge part of my family, but I can't begin to figure out how to stop him from attacking her.
Anything helps!!
Thank you

I'm sorry you haven't got any responses to your question--it's such a tough situation.  We have one cat who never did get along with our other three cats and we mostly just have to keep her separated from the others.  Have you tried any calming agents with Oscar, like calming treats or collars?

Thank you for replying!!!
We give them treats and equal amounts of love, and he's getting better but he's still really rough with the other two cats... and they're strictly indoor cats, and they have a no collar policy..
It's a bit better but it's not completely 100%.
