We currently have four cats right now. The mum Sabin (approx 1 year old), the other 3 are 12 weeks old (Pickles, Poppy and Panda). They range from 1.4~1.7 kg. We have been currently feeding them Royal Canin Mother and Babycat wet and dry. The dry food is almost out and they don't seem to like the wet food as much these days. We are now feeding them Fancy Feast Kitten (Turkey), Wellness Core Chicken, Natures Variety Instinct (various flavours) for wet food. Since the Dry food is almost finished, I was wondering what dry food I should switch them to, we have a bag of unopened Orijen Cat and Kitten we got before we realised Sabin should be fed kitten food while she was pregnant.
I'm thinking of feeding them either Royal Canin Kitten (seems to have a lot of grains), Chicken Soup for the Soul Kitten, Wellness Kitten or Wellness Core Kitten or Orijen.

Any advice would be appreciated, they are mainly on a wet food diet and use the dry food to snack on during the day. Sabin seems to like dry food more these days and I'm wondering eating too much kitten food would get her to gain weight.

I personally use 1/4 of a cup for my cats' diet daily (when limited on canned food). The kitten gets 1/2 cup though. My only boy gets nothing but canned food due to chronic urinary track infections, crystals, etc. He is on a prescription food for that from my vet because they happen so often...

A few months ago, I had a pregnant Ragdoll that I bought from a breeder that mated her to their male prior to me getting her. She eventually miscarried. I was not home much during those weeks and I think that caused her stress so she miscarried. Very sad. But anyways, I fed her Taste of The Wild Rocky Mountain. 42% protein. I recommend it.

I'd go with the Orijen for now, especially as you have a bag of it already. Just be sure to do a gradual transition to avoid upset tummies ;) I'm not too familiar with US brands, so I can't be much help apart from that. Just remember, though, that the best food for your cats is the one they will happily eat! The best food in the world is useless unless it gets into the cat ;)
