Awwww, Thank you guys so much! I am feeling the love, & you are making me tear up now!  Yes, he is a sweet little boy, & a good one too, like Angel, never jumping up on counters, tables, etc... In fact, I put the cat tree back out in front of the living room window again.It's been vacuumed a lot, but I'm sure still has Angel's smell on it. I placed him on it to look out the window once & he stayed there for a few minutes, but that was it for now. He likes being up in that window, but just jumps up instead of using the tree. In fact, that's where he has slept the past two nights, then coming in around 6:30 up on the bed, ready for breakfast. Ahhhh, the kitty alarm clock, can't say I missed that. LOL!   

I finally saw him play a little last night. I was so happy, because I'd tried to get him to play before, but he wasn't interested, no matter what I pulled out. He pulled a piece of the cat grass I planted out, & was kind of batting it around, & trying to pick it up w/ both paws.   So then I took out a couple of balls & a little mouse, & he played with them a little. It was a joy to see!

Awww, thanks Eric!  I'm glad it made you smile!  He is a little harder to photograph unless the light is right though. But I'm sure i'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

I guess I'm a member of the black cats group now. LOL!  

Here's a little update everyone, I sent this thread to my vet, so that she could know about Sammy & read the story, even though I won't be able to take him in for a while. She not only read my post, but said she read the whole thread. (& today, on a Sunday). She told me that I could come in & pick up some dewormer, & Advantage, w/ out him being seen yet, so that was nice.

I am telling you, she is the best!! I just love her.  

How is the little calico girl? does she still visit ?

Congratulations! What a beautiful black kitty. He has a white spot just like my boy Carrot. 

He's a beautiful boy. I was also adopted by an adult black cat when I was a teenager, and had to say goodbye to him about a year ago.

Congratulations to both of you. Oh and, does he have an ear tip or am I imagining that?

Love that little white belly. My black cat Jiro has go a white patch in the same place, and two little white tufts under his front arm pits.

@Angels mommy, i'm so happy for both you and your Sammy!

i agree with what others have said, that your Angel sent Sammy to you, when he knew the time was right. at least that's been my experience, both when my Mickey passed (he sent my little Snick and i our Jaspurr) and when my little Snick passed (she knew that Jaspurr and i should adopt our DeeDee and Punky, even made sure both girls were at the adoption event together).

Just thought I'd share some more pictures. Yesterday, was a rainy day, so Sammy stayed in and slept most of the day. He's making himself right at home.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

 

Then, he started to play on his own! Pouncing the mouse, & trying to bite the tail off!
