ShareBear, Mandy, Booger, Darla, & BigOrangeKitty say 'hello' from TX

I just joined after reading some material here about cat behavior. I'm glad to find you.

I have 4 full-time indoor cats, 13-yr old sisters ShareBear and Mandy, 9-yr old Booger, 9-yr old Darla, and one part-timer, BigOrangeKitty, who comes and goes as he pleases.

I have rescued and adopted out a number of loose/feral kittens and have had 3-4 'community' ferals in my apt complex fixed. I feed them daily. They all tend to follow me around and if I count them I have 8+ cats.

Maybe I have a problem!?

Thanks to each of you. Each one of them is a hard luck story. I am cursed with too much animal empathy!

My ferals -

Little Mama

Sister Half-tail, Little Mama & BigOrangeKitty's daughter

Floydie, Little Mama & BigOrangeKitty's son

Each of them have been spayed/neutered and given their shots, just as BigOrangeKitty has.

I've found homes for several of their kittens I am glad to say.

I have a stray mama and kittens I found in the bushes lately and they too will need homes.

I'll start a thread about them soon.
