HI everyone, this is my first time having a cat that will have kittens and I am getting very nervous. She is 9 weeks now and should have her kittens any day. I want to know if this is normal. Lately she has just been laying on the floor not moving much and she hasn't gone pee or poop in two days.... I moved all of her stuff up stairs into the spare room and set her up box to have them in. She's a really small cat so I'm very concerned they will be stuck or something will go wrong :( please if anyone has any advice or can tell me if the way she's been acting is normal

I've never had kittens; however, I can't believe that going two days without eliminating is normal.  I'm sure others will chime in, though.

Would like to know how your cat was before going into labour and how you knew she was close to starting labour? Luna kitty is going to have her kittens any day!!!

Is she laboring? Is she eating and drinking? If not, she needs to be seen by a vet.

She is eating a lot, I haven't seen her drinking much, maybe she does when I'm not looking. She used the litter box a little but not much.

She should be okay then. She is acting like a normal, near-term pregnant cat. They really rest a lot, and eating slows down. Keep an eye on her though.

Keeping a very close watch on her. Hope everything goes okay and that the kittens are okay. Thank you!

So my cat had four kittens, she started at 330 and ended at 6 am. Is there anyway that now she could have another one? It's 12 36 pm

It's possible. Cats can take breaks anywhere from hours to days. Do you think there is another kitten?

Glad it went well!
