A few days ago I came home from work and noticed my 4 month old kitten had started limping. The day is happened she was pretty lazy, sleeping all day. As of now it's been about 5 days and she has resumed normal behavior, but she still has a limp. I can touch her leg just fine without her reacting. She runs, jumps, plays and is eating/drinking and acting completely normal besides walking with her leg up. She has started putting more pressure on it, but besides that acts as if she's not in any pain. Is this something I should take to the vet since it's been 5 days even though she is acting normal, or should I continue to wait since she is slowly beginning to put pressure on it? We have two larger dogs (a yr old great dane and a 3mo old great Pyrenees) and they often rough house (the kitten being the instigator!) I am assuming that something may have happened with the dogs, but she's still instigating play with them even with the limp.
