I have a neutered male and a spayed female. Every night when the baby cries, or if I whistle, he goes after the female and tries to "perform". The female gets very angry at him for this. I don't know how to make him stop doing it. It gets annoying because the female gets very angry with him and then they end up in a big fight and she kicks his butt. This usually wakes up the baby. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do to get him to stop?

Pea245, I was afraid no one would see your post since it was at the bottom of an old thread, so I split it out for you.

I hope someone has some good ideas for you.

Actually I have heard of this happening, the noise stimulates the cat in a sexual manner. How long ago was the neuter?
