I don't think I've ever seen the Fancy Feast kitten line
I shop at Super Stop and Shop & was surprised to find that they sell only 2 flavors in kitten Fancy Feast Don't think it makes much difference. When I was fostering my kittens woofed down everything.

Fancy Feast only makes the canned kitten food in 2 flavors. Turkey and whitefish. My cats all still love the turkey and I give them some now and then.

My Kit prefers Sheba over FF.  I have to doctor the FF to get her to eat it -- I put raw mixer boost in with it.  I feed a 50/50 mix of higher end (PRIDE by instinct is her favorite among the higher priced) and cheaper stuff, with some raw freeze dried thrown in as either toppers for the cheaper foods or meals on their own.

But yeah, I learned here that of the cheapie foods FF and Sheba are the best choices; mine is another kitty who prefers sheba over FF.

My boy will pretty much ONLY eat Fancy Feast and Sheba.  He loves the portions, which are more expensive than the cans (same thing as the cans but normally I feed half a can at a time and he gets picky when it has been in the fridge!) but I do keep some on hand because they are handy to give!  I have tried giving him better quality foods that I get from Pet Smart or Petco or a local pet store, and it seems like every time I give him some he throws it up!  Sheba and Fancy Feast.. never throws it up.  So I am happy with it and the ingredients are really not bad.  I do feed him some dry food at night to snack on but his diet is mainly just FF & Sheba and also some Science Diet, and his coat is soo soft and nice and he does great on it!

I know neither of these brands are super high end canned cat food, but they're at the top of my affordability.  I got them a case of Fancy Feast and they ate it, but they didn't seem to love it.  They always left a little bit and didn't seem to have a huge interest.  So, today, I bought some Sheba.  They licked their bowls clean.  Clearly, they like it better. Is it a better food than Fancy Feast?

Actually, Fancy Feast and Sheba are not bad brands at all. Fancy Feast Classics are some of the best (often recommended by vets for cats who are diabetic due to such low carbs). Fancy Feast makes a kitten food in 2 flavors (in the United States at least they do).

Another reason to be glad I have 2 cats.  I can give them each half the can and not worry about refrigerating anything.  They're so picky and spoiled, they probably wouldn't touch it cold.  I also have to mix it with hot water.

My two cats will rarely finish an entire can. I open a can 3 times a day & they can free-feed dry food. It was so much easier when my Harry was alive - there were no leftovers with him.

Connor and Murphy are oinkers.  They're 6 months old so they're still in the growing stage and they're huge.  Bigger than most full grown cats.

LOL. Everyone but Star will eat refrigerated food :lol3: . My boy (Baloo) will eat any canned food. Never had that boy refuse canned food.

I just want to point out that you're feeding them double the portion with a normal can of fancy feast compared to a sheba also.. while I am not sure if you portion it or not but that may also make a difference... personally my cats will hardly touch pate but they love the shreds/chunks or whatever name they choose
