Hello all I'm new here so I apologize if this is a repeat topic !
A feral momma cat brought her 6 kittens into my yard around 3 weeks ago.
I've been planning to CNR her with Allycats help however she disappeared ( along with all the kittens ! ) A few days ago. :(
There was a big storm and I have not seen them since.
I had been leaving food and water for her. She hissed if I got too close but seemed OK with my presence otherwise.
I'm not sure if maybe she was thinking I was too much of a threat ( the kittens had gotten old enough to start to come out from under the shed and 2 of them would let me get pretty close ) or if the storm perhaps scared her away ?
Thoughts?
I'm still leaving food but it doesn't look touched the past day or two.
The trap, neuter, release is scheduled for this coming Saturday. I haven't canceled yet.
Thank you for any input !

It may have been a little of both.  With the kittens big enough to wander, she may have moved them to a safer place.

I would let the rescue know about the situation - they may decided to wait until she reappears.  You don't want them come come out for nothing.

In the meantime, keep leaving food and hope for the best.

Vibes she returns in time - with all the kittens!!
