Hi there,
I rescued 2 munchkin kittens from a house where a woman was hording cats. The floor, furniture, and walls of the house were completly covered in feces and urine. The smell of cat urine (ammonia) was so strong, MY eyes were watering and it hurt to breath. WORST experience smells in my life.
Anyway, these two love bugs are about 6 weeks old. They seem to be in decent health except for watery eyes with discharge. I have been wiping their faces regularly but the skin around their eyes look so red and puffy. Im assuming the fumes from that house didn't help but I would like to know if there is anything I can do (temporarily) to help them? One of kittens eyes constantly seal shut due to the gunk. They have a appointment with the vet in a couple days for their shots and checkup.
Thanks a bunch
