I'm new to the board having only made a few posts so just wanted to say 'hi' and introduce myself. As you can tell from my handle, I love motorcycles and have had one in my life since I was 8. They help to keep me sane Definitely helps me wind down on the ride home from work.
Always loved cats as well and when it comes to family members I can't imagine anyone better. In addition to volunteering at a local rescue my wife and I live with several including two kittens that appeared in my in-laws back yard. They've since had the mom spayed but we have two wonderful additions to the family that are full of kitten energy. The original plan had been to get them into the program where I volunteer but my wife decided they had to stay with us and I can't say I disagree
Before getting to kitten pics, here's my avatar: View media item 371743 This is my Lizzy and she's 9. Unfortunately she had an eye infection as a kitten and lost her eyes. She lived on the street for three years before a kind person trapped her and got her some proper care. She's amazing to watch though. If you didn't know better you wouldn't even realize she was blind as she ran past you in the house. She actually navigates better than one of our other girls who has about 10% of her vision.
The kittens, Timmy & Charlotte: She's the tortie and he's solid black. He just seems to absorb all the light around him and he's growing fast! She seems to be staying a little more petite
