good morning!

for all our US members, i'm sending
's, as we remember 9/11.

lately, i've been watching some movies. usually i prefer the old/classic movies, but i've been watching some more recent films too.

so for today's Question of the Day......

What was the most recent movie(s) that you've seen?

i'll start!

the most recent movie i saw was Jason Bourne 2016, within this last week. i really liked this movie, but i didn't think it was as good as the previous 3 Bourne movies. somehow, i've missed The Bourne Legacy, but will watch that movie soon.

before that, i finished off the last 4 or 5 movies in the Harry Potter series.

i'd also like to see Red 2. i loved the movie Red, so i think i'll enjoy Red 2.

okay, now it's your turn!

The last movie I saw was Michael Moore's Where to Invade Next. I thought it would be a critical review of warmongers post-Iraq, but it was nothing of the sort. He visited different countries and "stole" social reforms that the US has failed to adopt, such as free college/university education. It was very good.

On TV? Prince in Purple Rain, a couple weeks ago. (And I'm either going to buy it or rent it to watch this coming weekend while Rick is gone.)

At a theatre? Geez, I have no idea. Rick thinks it was probably the first Harry Potter flick.

I am not a movie person. The last movie I went to see at the movies was "Driving Miss Daisy" from the 80's and the last one I saw on TV a few weeks ago was "To Sir With Love" from l968.

It's been a very long time since I went to a movie theater.  I am not a big movie person either.  I think the most recent movie that I have seen is Zero Dark Thirty.  I watched it on Showtime when I still had ATT Uverse.  I don't have any of the premium channels.  I do like her movies, I also liked The Hurt Locker.

We love films in our house, however apart from comedies we all have completely different tastes. My favourite are horrors, especially supernatural.

The last film I watched at home was muriels wedding (on tv yesterday). Last film at the cinema was jungle book. We went as a family.

Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. It was the only thing good on tv and I have seen this movie several times already.

The new Peanuts Movie.  And not till it was on DVD.  I really don't like movie theaters.  I'd rather be doing other things while watching a movie; and in the comfort of my own home.  I'm pretty sure the last time I saw a movie in the theater it was one of the Princess Diaries movies and it wasn't my idea to go see it.
