So I've been mixing up raw meat for my cats and I have a big glass bowl, but it JUST fits the 5 lbs of meat and a little water. Even with the most careful stirring, some of it still plops out...I need a bigger bowl! And I'm unsure of where to even look for one and what size to get (online...in person I could obviously tell lol). I want a stainless steel one.

Does ANYONE have any recommendations??

My mom would definitely appreciate me not using one of HER bowls for my cats' meat. Hehe!

Try a restaurant supply store or web site. Maybe instead of a bowl look into a very large pot instead, like a lobster pot or stock pot.

What is the diameter of the bowl you are currently using?

The one I've been using holds 4 quarts.

Thanks for the ideas! Didn't think about that. My brain is just stuck on bowls.. lol

I found some large 30 quart stainless steel mixing bowls online. There are smaller sized bowls but bigger than your 4 quart bowl.

I was gonna say check out the thrift stores. I found lots of stainless in all different sizes for cheap!

Hey guys! Just letting you know I found a nice stainless steel bowl at TJMaxx for $8. It's 9 quarts and has plenty of stirring room. Thanks for your help :)
