How in the world do you find proper homes for all your kittens so quickly and easily?

Luck! I think my pictures add some good selling points! Two of these kittens are actually going to one of my friends who has wanted to adopt through me for a while now but hasn't been able to until now, so I will get lots of updates I am sure!

Some pictures from today!

Andy is such a beautiful Momma

Lol I make noises to get them to look at the camera... sometimes the noise frightens them!

Lol! I am not sure what Andy will do when she doesn't have kittens playing with her tail!

She is such a happy mommy, I love her <3

A picture of Franklin the day in between his first urgent care vet visit and his trip to the emergency clinic, and a picture of him today! I am so happy for him! I couldn't do all of this without your guys' support!

Franklin was so lucky that you and Andy became his foster moms [emoji]10084[/emoji]️ Thank you for not giving up on this special little man. He has a life and a lovely future because of you [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Huge difference in Franklin. The vets were so pessimistic about his chances. It annoys me when vets do that. So glad you did not give up!

All pictures are adorable. I want them all! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Andy is beautiful and looks so sweet. I'll miss their pictures when they are gone, but they were truly fortunate to have been found and put in your care! Thank you!

As far as Hazel.. I don't know how to proceed. I think she is getting bigger but that might be because I am looking for her to get bigger. Her nipples don't appear pink to me- what I can see in her belly fluff. Her belly is still firm... what could cause that? She is such a petite cat anyway... I guess at the very least I can make a vet appointment and see what they think. My vet office doesn't do ultrasounds so I am not sure if I would be better off going to a different vet initially or not.. Any ball park idea of how much ultrasounds for cats are?

What about an x-ray? It will reveal if there are kittens. I suggest you call and inquire about x-ray and ultrasound prices, and see which is suggested. If it means a different vet initially, at least you'll finally get an answer. I'm concerned that it could be pyometra, which causes a firm belly as fluid accumulates.

Please let us know which path you take.

Every area & vet will vary in price, but when Angel used to get them to check his bladder, they were about 40.00/45.00. I wouldn't think it should be much more than that to just check for kittens.
I would find a vet that does ultrasounds.

I think I am going to go ahead and schedule her spay, her belly no longer seems firm to me and she doesnt seem any larger than she initially was. I had a cat from a feral colony with a pyometra a while back, this doesn't seem the same. I think the person probably just told me she was pregnant so that I would take her :/ people no longer surprise me.

I think that vets routinely check for pregnancy before a spay, if you alert them that it is possible.

I think it's common to just assume an intact female cat is full of kittens.

As they all to often are.  Why, OH WHY, don't people take some responsibility?  On the up side, there are those like you and ashade1 who are taking more than your share!  God bless you and those like you!

Thanks guys! Her belly definitely is no longer firm like I believed it was, coincidentally she also has pooped a lot. So maybe she was just constipated from a poor diet before? Who knows. Her fur on her lower back and tail is still weird... like less fluffy then the rest. Do you think it is a flea allergy thing? I treated her with Advantage II two weeks ago so I might go ahead and put another dose on her... I havent seen anymore recently but if it helps

Her fur could be that way from a poor diet and from stress. I'll bet those areas improve over time! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
