They saw Franklin and they actually did see Andy and all 8 of her kittens when they were about 2 weeks old if you remember, unfortunately they won't give me antibiotics for her without seeing her. We are just going to wait to see if she shows anymore signs of pregnancy. I am definitely familiar with pyometras, the last colony of cats that I worked with one of the momma cats had one that we took care of, she definitely acted a lot different that this cat. I have been told by my vet many times that I have a great sense of when they are not feeling well even if they don't outwardly show it, and I am just not seeing it with her. I definitely will make an appointment if something changes or if she does not have kittens/get bigger over time and definitely is not pregnant and I will schedule her spay then as well.

Hazel sounds like she is adjusting to her new environment to me. She may be a shy kitty in general as well. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I called my vet today about Andy and they said since they have seen Andy recently with her babies and since they saw Franklin, who likely is the one who got her sick they were able to give me antibiotics for her without a visit! Yay! So she started those today!

Hazel sound shy to me. Lots of not litter trained and some who are but are pissed about somethings choose cloth to pee on.
It won't hurt her to wait and see rather that spend $ to find out if she seems well besides.
Can you tale a temp, arm pit or ear even.
She is lovely my cat .Beatrix had kittens in May, and had not vet visit until she spayed.
She did really well with her kits and was 6 pounds cat. I never checked the kits weights, and help with the weening process around four weeks because they seemed always hungry and ine had tried to eat the dry food out for mom.
Beatrix was very active but when she didn't come in one night and we found her dleepat the end of the feild the next day we stopped letting her out. She accepted it with grace for a cat born to a barn cat.

Holy Kitten Tongues! The Black Babies are getting so big! This is Francesca! I bought them all collars yesterday so I can tell them all apart! Franklin is doing great! Locing being back with his siblings! Its hard to get pictures of them all! Black kittens are so hard to take pictures of! All got their first dose of flea treatment today, it seems I have a never ending battle with fleas, all cats in the house have been treated with a topical and all furniture and carpets have been sprayed! Good grief! Enjoy some kitten tongue craziness!

I have some pictures for you guys!

This is Mr. Felix, he is pretty shy. The biggest of the four.

Francesca- always with her tongue out!

Francesca is the most outgoing of the four!

Franklin is doing great! Still has weepy eyes sometimes so we are treating that still, him and Francesca are the sweetest!

Another of Franklin becuase he has the cutest face!

And finally Flynn! He is the smallest of the group- except when Franklin lost all of that weight but he is ahead of him now!

Introduced them to a new toy today! These type of toys with the ball that goes around is always a huge hit here! This one particularly so because it makes bird chirping noises as well!

They're all so beautiful! I'm in love with Francesca, she seems like the trouble maker of the crew! And I understand the need for different collars, they all look alike at first glance!

Andy has been notably less congested, her eyes are still watery and you can tell she is a little under the weather still but she looks better! Hazel seems to be acting more pregnant today? Everything I am noticing I am wondering if its only because I am looking for a sign lol. She seems bigger to me. And now she has taken up residence under the dresser in that room- nesting perhaps? She has been under there ALL day. laying on her side, she rolls back and forth when I am in there purring away. Her belly is so fluffy that I still can't see her nipples at all really and I am not sure I would be able to see kitten movement. sigh.

And Franklin...dear little Franklin...I was so worried for him. To see him growing and healthy makes my day!!! Thank you ashade1 ashade1 for not giving up on him.

I am so happy for Franklin, and so thankful for everyone who chipped in to help pay for his two emergency vet visits and third check up. I really couldn't have done it without everyone and your guy's help!

It does sound like Hazel may be nesting. Can you feel if her belly is tight, or if it is tightening and loosening as in contractions? Don't know if she'll let you.

Glad to hear that Andy is improving. Those URI's are no fun!

I'm glad you did not give up on Franklin either! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Doesn't seem to be contractions but she hates me to touch her belly lol. I have been staring at her trying to decide if I can see any rippling of contractions or kitten movement but I don't think I have seen either. sigh.

Been a few days since I have updated, things are going well here. No developments with the possibly pregnant cat yet, still waiting ever so impatiently! Andy is doing great, she is such a sweet girl, wants love all of the time. All of the kittens are doing wonderful!
