My 6 yr old Manx cat named KittyZay got trapped under 2 car garage door for approx 45 mins before it was free'd. Took to vet, X-rays show no broken bones, she has no use of her back legs, prescribed steroids and pain medicine. It's only been a little over 48 hours. But what I'm wondering if oxygen and blood flow was stopped for that long does that mean permanent paralysis? What would be next step? Eating and drinking water. dragging back legs. Not doing good with going to bathroom due to having to hold her. She lets us know she has pain when we touch her legs or feet.

Hi Donnalaw and welcome to TCS!

Your post was in an old thread and went unnoticed, so we moved it here.

How is KittyZay going now?
