Hi mods-

I am (obviously) pretty new here but registered a couple months ago. Recently changed food and it produced either an allergic reaction or a completely normal food change reaction. I'm not quite sure how to proceed tonight w/re to feeding. Because I used a link to the questionable/new food product my post got held up in moderation. Just hoping that this post here catches someone's eye and they can clear my new thread so that--hopefully--i can get an answer i can live with tonight.

thanks!

Hopefully your thread will be posted soon :cross::vibes:

In the meantime, my instinct would be to go back to the old food that you know your cat has no issues with. Food changes are best done gradually in any case, as many cats struggle with sudden dietary changes.

Hope this helps you whilst you're waiting :cross::vibes:

Hello and welcome @outthere

When a new member posts anything with a link, it gets held up by the system spam filters. It's not so much the quality of the link, it's just the fact that there's a link there. As you post more, the system learns to trust you and stops holding posts with links.

Our moderators - all of them volunteers - log in to see a queue of the posts that are waiting to be validated and they tackle them in the order they come in. Usually, everything that was held for moderation gets published within a couple of hours. Sometimes there may be an issue with a post that requires some discussion among the mods so it may take a bit longer.

I see that your post has been validated within an hour of its submission, so all's set to go. Thanks for clarifying about the link but it would have been approved either way.
