So the other day my husband picked something off the floor and brought it to me and asked what it was.. It looked like the tissue of an undeveloped kitten after the Momma misscarries [emoji]128542[/emoji] which our Momma cat Anna just had kittens so I figured it was something she passed. Well today, my daughter was holding one of the kittens and I spotted the same thing coming from the babys behind..when I went back to check to see if It had passed It I noticed It was sucked back up in the kitten. It looks like a hard tissue/turd/reddish/brown thing. We plan on taking the poor thing to the vet tomorrow but I am just going crazy trying to figure it out and get the poor thing relief. The kitten hadnt been as active as the others and is always isolating itself. Any information will be appreciated please!! [emoji]128149[/emoji][emoji]128149[/emoji]

Sounds like it might be worms.  It's very common for kittens to have worms.  Deworming treatment should take care of them, but you might have to do it more than once.

Hi @bmacensey and welcome to TCS!

I'm wondering whether this is a rectal prolapse.  There's a thread about it here and a picture and more information on this site.

It may not be at all, but the picture on the second site would give some idea.  It would be strange that it's been sucked back in, and that the mother had something similar, but you never know.

Do you have a picture of what you are talking about? If so, can you post it? Or have you been to the vet today?
