There might be. I would have a vet look at it. It could just be a congenital defect, but it also might be an infection or something else.

My cat, who I got as an adult, has one distorted pupil. If you pull back the lid a bit you can see that it's attached to the top part of her eyeball. Vets have said that it's either from a past trauma or it's congenital, and it doesn't seem to affect her eyesight too much. I'm supposed to keep an eye on it if it ever changes or gets inflamed.

Since you can assume she hasn't had it for long since she's only 5 weeks old herself, it should be looked over by a vet to make sure it isn't the result of an active infection.
