Hi - I came upon your site while looking at some medical advice for my outdoor cat.  He has a nasty abscess.  I have seven total - including Mr. Abscess - whose name is really Cosmo.  He had dental surgery last week and has developed a large abscess under his chin.  I am taking him back to his doctor tomorrow, but as of this morning he was miserable.  I won't get into this - it's probably best saved for a medical forum!

Anyway, I wanted to share with the lady who just got the tabby kitten - Max.  I am in my fourth month of kittenhood!  All my others are grown, with approximately three years being the youngest.  My neighbor called me over one night in April and showed me a little baby that had no home.  I wasn't looking to add to my clan, but I could see that this little guy was not going to have a happy ending, so reluctantly I brought him home.  He has been the love of my life! (Hope my others aren't reading this)  But you do forget how "out of control" they can be!  He started out at about a pound, and now he is big enough to get everywhere - and I do mean everywhere!  Sometimes he is so bad!  I get home from work and there is stuff from high places on the floor - and I don't have to guess who it was!  I know this too shall pass, he will be neutered probably this month, and hopefully will slow down a little!  He eats like a pig - but I know he's burning it off, so I let him eat.  You do literally have to "baby-proof" the house - but like with real kids - they grow up so fast!  His name is Clooney, and he is the most beautiful cream color - not quite orange - and some stripes are starting to emerge.  He has the most adorable face - I couldn't be mad at him if I tried!  Other than Clooney,  I have three tabbies, two black and white, and Cosmo is white with tabby areas.  My house is rather large, so they have room to roam, but it seems like they are always in the room I am in!  They are all male except for Goldie - one of the tabbies.  They are all "walk - ups".  My name for cats that just happen to find my house and decide to stay.  I am posting a photo of Clooney - my newest baby

until I figure out how to download more from my phone!  I am looking forward to lots of reading and sharing!  I am glad I found you!
