So yesterday we had to trim my cat's nails and everything went well and there was nothing wrong with the trimming, but since then after I trimmed my cat's nail she started licking her paws ALOT.
She would walk and run on her paws normally but if she stands still sometimes she doesn't put weight on the paws and sometimes she does put weight.
Anyway today while she was sleeping beside me I noticed that there is a part of her paw that has blood (it is not the actual paw like the five fingers , no it is this weird finger like thing on the arm itself) anyway I freaked out and used a specific cream on her hand thet heals wounds and I tried to clean the wound the a wet towel. The wound is not like pouring out blood it was just a blood stain on her fur beside the paw that I noticed. But she is eating and drinking normally she walks around and plays too it's just when she stands that most of the time she does not put weight on her hands.
I just want to know is there anything for me to worry about? Please I need any answers I am very worried[emoji]128546[/emoji][emoji]128546[/emoji]

P.S my cat wounded her paws before and the paw healed on it's own.

Btw she is an indoor cat.

It's really impossible to know what the issue is via the internet.  Can you see what caused the bleeding?  It's a little worrisome that she isn't putting weight on that paw.  That's my only real concern.

Be sure whatever you apply to the wound is ok for her to lick, since obviously she ca reach it with her tongue.

Yeah me too this is what is worrying me plus I found out that beside the carpal pad is the part that was red not the actual carpal pad that was (as of what I saw) and she is not allowing me to touch her carpal pad AT ALL even if she is sleeping she wakes up and runs away from me to a place where I can't reach her.

If it is possible to get a picture at all that would be very helpful.

From what you describe, it sounds like the injured area is some distance from where you were trimming her nails?   Is there any chance she might have been running or climbing and caught her paw / claws on something?  Is she still avoiding putting weight on that paw?

I'm sorry that the photo is not really obvious at all but this is the best picture that shows a little redness in the place beside the carpal pad.
Anyway, I talked to me veteranarian and told her about everything and she told me that this is probably because she had overgrown nails before (which is true) that one of her nails probably wounded the carpal pad because it was too long and she told me to keep using the cream that I was using and to keep cleaning her paws and if nothing happens during a week we need to go see the vet. And I do beleive that cause her nails where actually veeery overgrown and we weren't able to trim them much quicker because my cat HATES trimming her nails.

Update: yesterday my cat didn't want to walk one her hands a lot so she was limping sometimes but today she started using the paw more often and she even stands on her paw sometimes so she is getting better, thank god.
I hope everything stays ok with her.
And if anything happens I am going to update you guys[emoji]10084[/emoji]

And thank you to everyone who replied to me[emoji]10084[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]

Good to hear she is happier to use her paw today.  It does sound like she is feeling better with what ever you are doing.   I'm sure you feel better having been able to check things with the vet too.

The photo was helpful and thank you for sharing: the sore area as well away from anywhere you might have caught when clipping and a claw having caught her or something similar does make more sense.  Hopefully she will be reasonably happy for you to check on her as her wound heals and is less painful.

Lots of nice positive vibes for your cat's paw to keep getting better and no need to stress her out with any vet visits.

Do try and let us know how things go: we always like to know how something turns out - and esp if a cat gets all better.
