I rescued two sister cats, as they were going to be put down if they didn't find a home. So we brought them home to be barn cats, we have had them for a year now and they are about 2 years ol . They leave for days and return to play and eat food ! They never go far ! We live on a farm and have never seen any other cats around here. My one cat mischief came home and been hanging out in the barn, I brought her inside and noticed she is really fat, I know she's pregnant because her nipples are pink, and discharging clear fluid, she has milk sockets where milk would be and I can feel the fetus's in her belly sometimes when they lay a certain way, the hair around her nipples are gone, and she sleeps and eats all day and has no energy, no sign of nesting but when I move she follows. I need advice to know how far along she might be. She's a smaller cat not very bi . And I noticed her big big belly about a week ago, but she has been gone for about a week prior. As usua . Her sister is not pregnant though.

I'm basically wondering how far long she is, or a general idea. I k ow a queens gestation is usually 60-67 days. I have no idea how far along she is what so ever.

Can you post a picture of your cat please?

Can you get her sister spayed so she does not become pregnant?

The earlier picture finally showed up! Her nipples do look like pregnant nipples. I would guess she may have about 3 weeks to go.

Do you have her sister inside too?

No I do not, I let her out because she wouldn't stop meowing at the door haven't seen her since yesterday she will be back. I don't get why people are so harsh on cat owners for not spaying them, its the owners choice, and cats having a litter of kittens isn't a bad thing. I'm not in a rush to do it. They are extremely happy cats if I spay them which I will probably. They won't explore as much and they won't want to do anything. I've spayed my old cat and she became fat lazy and miserabl .

We recommend spaying and neutering for several reasons. First and foremost is that it is never one litter of kittens. If all kittens are left intact, you are looking at hundreds more cats within a matter of years. Whether you keep them all or not, you are adding that many cats to the population. There are an obscene number of cats put to sleep every year because they don't have homes.

Indiscriminate mating is dangerous for your cats. They roam farther, and are exposed to parasites and sexually transmitted diseases that can be deadly. Mating is also painful for females.

There is also the matter of each heat cycle increasing the odds of reproductive cancers and infections like pyometria.

Lastly, your cats are uncomfortable with each heat. Their hormones are ruling their bodies. It's not a happy life.

The vast majority of cats are unchanged by spaying. If your cat was miserable, there may have been another reason.

It can be difficult to see movement sometimes, but usually there is nothing to worry about. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

If she's dropped that explains why you see no movement. The kittens are crowded. She may be closer than you think if she's dropped. That only happens towards the end.

How close roughly if she has dropped ? Like a week ? I just want to be fully prepared and want to be home for her when she goes into labo .

If she has really dropped, she should have kittens within a week, but other signs are good predictors too - such as milk coming in, nesting behavior, vaginal discharge, contractions that look like ripples, etc.

The noises are internal body sounds related to carrying kittens.
