My favourite would be steak and sweet potatoes (potato done in foil). I love it all though. I have a cast iron BBQ pan and love cooking veggies on it.
that sounds very good!

i hadn't heard of a cast iron pan for on the grill. i'll have to look into that, just out of curiosity.

I like just about anything grilled as long as it doesn't get dried out.  Salmon, shrimp, steak, burgers, hot dogs (gotta have one or two in the summer!), chicken, veggies.

I can't believe it; but we did not use our grill once this summer!!  We had grilled things other places;  were just busy to fire up our own I guess.  We have a charcoal grill and it takes a little bit to get heated up.  I sort of wish we had a gas one too; just because it seems quicker.  My cousin's husband is such a grill fanatic he will fire the grill up to cook breakfast.  Bacon on the grill is really good!  So are his steaks and burgers.  He has skills with smoking too.
yummmm......those all sound great!
  especially the salmon.

interesting! i've never had a breakfast that was cooked on the grill.

Everything LOL
Burgers and veggies have to be my favorite.

To the one who mentioned fruit...
Grilled peaches are good. With marscapone cheese, mixed with a little vanilla and almond flavor, on top. So good.
mmmm......a nice grilled burger is hard to beat!

oh, wow! grilled peaches with marscapone cheese, mixed with some vanilla and almond flavor, on top......that's got to taste like...

Pretty much everything. Any kind of meat or fish or seafood. Veggies, we do the standard potatoes and sweet potatoes, but we also grill asparagus, Brussels sprouts, tomato halves with Parmesan, whole onions with a square cut out of the onion and filled with baked beans. Fruit, pineapple is delicious as are peaches and thick apple slices. Pizza. Thick slices of vanilla cake, then served with a compote. You name it, we'll grill it.
oh, wow!!! you all sure do make great grilled foods!
i think a little slice of heaven lives at your home, with all the wonderful foods you make...

LOL...I just thought about this,..my dad was the grill king of all time.  He could throw anything on a grill, and come out with a meal fit for a 5-star restaurant.  One of his friends sat him down one day and asked, "Andy, you've got to tell me...what is your secret for grilling?"  Dad replied, "It's all in timing the coals.  They have to be just right.  Here's what I do, I (and he gave a very explicit description of how to build up the charcoal, doing the wood chips, all of that, which I've forgotten in the past 50 years).  And now, this is the most important part, the timing.  I throw a match on the charcoal and crack open a bottle of scotch.  When I'm right, so are the coals!"
