how do i get my kitten used to being alone?

I just got a 6 week old kitten and he is doing awesome so far . Since the first day he played , ate and used the litter box no prob. but he needs to be with you everywhere and can't stay alone unless he's sleeping. Now the problem is that in about a week i will start going back to school (5-6 hours in the morning) and my mom will only be able to stay with him for 2 weeks maybe. How do i make him get used to being alone?  

Kittens naturally want to be with someone, whether it's another kitten or a cat or dog. They are social, and particularly want to be comforted when young and in a new environment.

However, your kitten needs lots of sleep, and will likely sleep while you are at school, especially if you leave him closed in your bedroom with food, water, toys, and litter. He is too little to have the run of a whole house or apartment where he can get stuck somewhere or injured.

Be sure to have a big play session with him when you get home each day! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

He sleeps all day long but only if he is in my arms or my boyfriend's(after he is sleeping i move him to his bed) ; that's the thing that makes worried thanks though! Now i know that is norma
