LIFE OR DEATH plz help

my male cat is blocked (urinary crystals) i took him to the emergency clinic and they want over $1000 for the surgery. i know how dire this situation is. does anyone know of any organization that can help him? i will sign over my ownership of him if they just help him. plz plz someone w advice. time running out

Have you checked with other locations that can perform the surgery.  One of our cats had an intestinal blockage and our first quote was for more than $4000.  We found another place that did the surgery for about $1500.  No question we were going to help her but it is worth it to do a little leg work.

we tried to get him in for an appt at almost every vet near us. i know the er clinic is more expensive but w no appt avail elsewhere im stuck. time is so vital i know how bad this is
